Atlantic Stage is presenting the first professional workshop production of "Bigfoot and Other Lost Souls," a new musical comedy by Tony Award-winning composer Mark Hollmann and book writer Adrien Royce. The story centers on novice scriptwriter and shoe-size 11 narrow Bernie Bernstein, who broke and broken-hearted, accepts an assignment to write a documentary on Bigfoot.  While on her journey of discovery, she encounters a slew of tabloid-sized characters and the truth not only about The Big Guy but herself as well.Recommended for adults and children ages 12 and older.

Produced in conjunction with Coastal Carolina UniversityProfessional Theatre Training Program.

 

 

 

All proceeds from opening night will benefit the Horry County Literacy Council. The Horry County Literacy Council's mission is to promote literacy throughout Horry County and provide the services necessary to the residents who wish to improve their basic literacy skills, learn to speak English, or overcome a learning difficulty such as dyslexia. They provide one-on-one tutorial services, as well as classroom and workshop settings. Originating in 1976, HCLC is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Services are free and confidential.
